Leonard Cohen
The Canadian poet-novelist turned singer-songwriter penned "Bird on the Wire," "Famous Blue Raincoat" and "Suzanne (Takes You Down to Her Place by the River)" recorded by Judy Collins.

Madonna
Still recording, Madonna has morphed from feeling "Like a Virgin" in lace to becoming the most controversial and monetized female singer of our time. Of course, what would you expect from the Material Girl?

Dave Clark Five
During the peak of the British Invasion, The DC5 gave the Beatles a run for American fans, who had the lads feeling "Glad All Over" making Top-40 hits out of "Catch Me If You Can" and "Over and Over."
